Happy Wednesday!! I was just playing at my craft table last night and came up with this card. I wanted to incorporate some circles into this card so I grabbed my Coluzzle and started cutting. I also wanted to use some Chunky Glitter and ended up using the Cosmo Fine Glitter too. I hope you like it. Thanks for visiting me today and I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!

Happy Anniversary - Anthony

Isn't Anthony just smashing in his tux?

On this card I knew I wanted to use Anthony from Hannah Stamps but I wanted to change his shirt and tie to a crisp white shirt and black bow tie. I also knew I wanted to incorporate that huge diamond ring with Anthony. So here's what I came up with. What do you think?
Thanks for visiting me today and I hope you're having a marvelous Monday!

For the Serious Golfer

I wanted to make a golf card to send to my Sister's Fiance to let him know how much I appreciate him for taking care of my Sister. He's a wonderful man and I couldn't have asked for a better brother-in-law or husband for my Sis. As you might have guessed he's a SERIOUS GOLFER. I mean, he's the guy that's at the club almost every day. He even makes his own golf clubs and clubs he sells. I've never met a more serious golfer. Now don't get me wrong...my Sis is not one of those golf widows. She likes to golf too and goes with Jeff as much as she can but she isn't as passionate as he is. Anyway, here's the card I made Jeff.

I knew which stamp set I was going to use (Anthony clear stamp set by Hannah Stamps) and I wanted to use colors that represented the grass and sand traps on a golf course so I used Garden Green and River Rock from Stampin' Up! The ribbon is SU!'s Double Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon in River Rock, the Ink is Basic Black Classic Pad, Bordering Blue, Sahara Sand (retired) & Basic Black Stampin' Write Markers. Did you notice the Garden Green background? Cool huh? I used my Crop-A-Dile and embossed circles and used the back to look like the surface of a golf ball. This would be totally cool in Whisper White then punched out with a circle punch...hmmmmm...I might have to try that. LOL I also used Stampin' Dimensionals to raise the Whisper White stamped layer.

I hope you are as lucky as I am to have such a wonderful man as a (soon to be) brother-in-law!

Have a wonderful week!

This one's for you My Love Chicken

Well...did you notice my new picture?? I updated the old one because my DH thought I needed a better picture. One where my roots aren't gray. LOL!! The truth is, my roots are gray most of the time. I think I have ultra gray hair because it grows so fast that I would have to color it once a week if I never wanted any gray hair. He doesn't really mind my gray hair in real life but he just thought I might have a better picture to show you. So, I changed my picture. It's one of my favorite pictures of me. It's at our wedding reception almost 15 years ago. It's actually a picture of my DH & I having our first toast. We are just cracking up in the picture but I can't remember why. :0) So, I thought I'd show you the full picture here. I'll update my blog profile once I find another picture I like of myself. That's hard to do because I'm always the one behind the camera. LOL

Anyway, thanks for strolling down memory lane with me. I hope you have a great night. Oh, and, I love you My Chicken Man! (just a nickname I call my DH because he has chicken legs but, they're still pretty cute!!)
L
PS Isn't he just the cutest?!?!?!? Love you my husband!

Baby Girl Hanna

Using Bookworm Hanna I wanted to make a Mom sitting in her little girl's room reading her a book. Here's what I came up with. Everything is paper pieced...the chair, the table, the lamp shade, Mom's dress, the book, Mom's head, neck, chest and legs. The oval plaque was made using the large oval punch then gluing the white piece to the brown piece and trimming. The rug was made using the scallop punch then stamping Mom onto it and cutting it out. The lamp pole and base are colored in using a Silver Gel pen. This wasn't a quick card but I really enjoyed all the work that went into it. I hope you like it. Have a wonderful morning!

The Ultimate Novel...

Ok, I know you can't read the title of Bookworm Hanna's book but it is "My Stampin' Up! Life". It's a novel about one demonstrators success with her business! Don't you just wish you had that book? I sure do! LOL Anyway, this is another new Hannah Stamps set. It's called Bookworm. I think in this picture Hanna needs a little bit of a tan but she knows how bad the sun can be for your skin so she stays in to read instead. All the stamps are from Hanna Stamps and everything else is Stampin' Up! I drew in the rug and the "READ" picture frame on the wall. The picture is popped up on dimensionals. All she needs is either a nice fireplace or a beautiful picture window with the sun shining in. The recipe is listed below the picture. I hope you take time to read a good book when you get a chance. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful evening!
Lorraine

Stamps: Hanna Stamps Bookworm Clear stamp set

Cardstock: Close to Cocoa, Mellow Moss & Whisper White

Ink: Basic Black Classic Pad, Creamy Caramel, Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Basic Black, Ballet Blue, Bashful Blue, Bordering Blue, Mellow Moss, Sahara Sand (retired), Old Olive, So Saffron, Blush Blossom, Pretty in Pink, Sage Shadow Stampin' Write Markers, White Signo Gel Pen to cover up some mistakes...:0)

Accessories: Aquapainter, Antique Brass Brads, 1/16" Circle Punch, Hemp Twine, Dimensionals and SNAIL adhesive

NOTE: The title of the book was Photoshopped in. It's not actually on the card. I couldn't write that small and I don't have an alphabet set that tiny. :0)

Sweets for the Sweet

How about a milkshake??? Ok, let's swing by the Sweet Shoppe in town. Well, I just can't put down my new Hannah Stamps!! Can you blame me? Did you see how cute these sets are on my last post?? I've been wanting to make this awning ever since I learned how to do scallops with my corner rounder punch!! Finally, here it is. I was just waiting for the right stamp set to come along. Everything here is Stampin' Up! except the stamps in the shoppe. I used the Cafe Clear Stamp set from Hanna Stamps, an old alphabet stamp set from Stampin' Up! that I seriously can't remember the name of (sorry). I do know it is retired though. The cardstock is Pink Passion, Basic Black and Whisper White. The ink is Basic Black Classic Pad, Pink Passion, Regal Rose, Pumpkin Pie, Ballet Blue, Summer Sun, Old Olive, Real Red, Basic Black, Orchid Opulence, Blush Blossom and Creamy Caramel Stampin' Write Markers. I drew in the whipped cream and cherry and colored it in with my White Gel Signo pen. I made the floor tiles again only using Real Red this time. I also drew in the shelves. I know, they're kinda' dorky but I needed a place to put the cups for sale. I used toothpicks, painted black with my marker, to hold up the awning. There is a transparency sheet covering the whole image to look like a shop window. The whole image is popped up using dimensionals and I used our Tombow glue to hold the toothpicks in place. They are stuck through holes punched with the 1/16" punch on top. I think that's it. If I left something out, please let me know...LOL! I hope you like my little Sweet Shoppe and get a chance to come on by for a milkshake sometime...LOL!!
Have a wonderful evening and thanks for stopping by!

Hanna Stamps Guest Designer

WOO HOO!! Guess who's a guest designer for Hannah Stamps this month??!!?? Yep, it's ME!! I am so very sorry it's taken me so long to announce this and post some pics but there was a little mix up with getting my stamps. Well, it's all taken care of and I have my stamps now so here are some cards I made using my new stamps!! These are the latest stamp sets released by Hanna Stamps this month. Don't you just love them??!!
Anthony Clear Stamp SetCafe Clear Stamp Set Bookworm Clear Stamp SetThe first card was made using the Anthony Clear Stamp set. I wanted Anthony to have a tweed sports coat on so I just drew in the lines with my Chocolate Chip Stampin' Write Marker. I also colored him using Creamy Caramel, Ballet Blue and Real Red Stampin' Write Markers. I used the Stampin' Up! Watercolor Pencils for the grass, the sky and his skin tone. I used a silver pen to color in the golf club. I drew in the golf green and flag with my Black Stampin' Write marker. The images are stamped with the Basic Black Classic Pad. I used Whisper White ribbon and colored it using my Glorious Green Stampin' Write marker. The corners are punched with the Photo Corner punch and I used the Silver Hodgepodge Hardware for a frame around the sentiment and the brads are also from the Silver Hodgepodge Hardware and embossed with White Craft pad and Detail White Embossing Powder. The cardstock used is Brilliant Blue, Glorious Green, Whisper White and Creamy Caramel. Oh, I also colored in Anthony's shoes to make them look like golf shoes with spikes. I think I'll meet Anthony at the club for a round of golf this afternoon. :0)
This card is made with the Hanna Cafe Clear Stamp set. Isn't she just absolutely darling!!??!! I want to look like her when I grow up. LOL!! I used the Basic Black Classic Pad to stamp the images and a Black Sharpie to write the Cafe Hanna sign in the window. I drew in the floor and added a mosaic top to the table with my Basic Black Stampin' Write marker. The dress is colored in using Pink Passion, Pixie Pink and Ballet Blue Stampin' Write Markers. The table uses those same colors along with Pumpkin Pie and Only Orange. The vase uses the Ballet Blue, Pink Passion and Glorious Green markers and has Crystal Effects on it to make it shine. I've added some Swarovski crystals to her ears and her finger for diamonds. Every girl needs some diamonds!! The back of the chair is colored in using Summer Sun and her hair is Creamy Caramel. The cardstock is Basic Black, Pink Passion and Whisper White. Don't you just want to meet her for some coffee?? I do! Ok, here's my last one for today. It's a card inspired by Michelle Zindorf's vase card I showed you in an earlier post. The cups are just too cute!! I colored them with Stampin' Write markers in Pink Passion, Lovely Lilac, Orchid Opulence, Tempting Turquoise, Summer Sun, Only Orange, Creamy Caramel, Close To Cocoa & Chocolate Chip. The shadow is colored with the Going Grey marker. The Steam is stamped then I went over it with my Silver pen. The sentiment is from the One Of A Kind Stampin' Up! set and is stamped with Basic Black Classic ink. I used the Key Tag and Word Window punches for the tag and added Crystal Effects to the cups and coffee for some shine. The cardstock used is Summer Sun, Tempting Turquoise, Pink Passion and Whisper White. Now go and have a relaxing cup on me. :-)
Just a Note:
For all of you Stampin' Up! Demonstrators out there wondering if it's ok for me to be the guest designer for another company...it is perfectly ok. I called SU! to get permission and they told me that this is just fine as long as I am not actually selling Hanna Stamps. I can use any stamps I want and post anything I want on my personal blog. I just wanted that to be clear for everyone.
Thank yo so much for stopping by to see me. I really appreciate all of your totally awesome comments and I hope you enjoy seeing all of my creations and that they inspire you in some way with your own stampin' endeavors.
