I got together with some demonstrator friends last night and we made some Card Organizers. These are great for remembering your birthdays, anniversaries and any other important dates you need to send a card. I'll be having a class to create these in January so stay tuned for the details.

Instructions
1.Spritz Chocolate Chip card stock with Chocolate Chip ink using Color Spritzer Tool. Round card corners using 3/16" Corner Rounder punch.


2.Stamp leaf image in Dusty Durango ink on grid Autumn Meadows Designer Series paper, and cut out.
3.Cut Taken with Teal leaf from multicolored leaf Autumn Meadows Designer Series paper.
4.Repeatedly stamp leaf image in Chocolate Chip ink on grid Autumn Meadows Designer Series paper. Stamp sentiment in Chocolate Chip ink on grid paper. Tear top edge of grid paper. Adhere strip of Taken with Teal Autumn Meadows Designer Series paper to bottom of grid paper. Round corners of striped Autumn Meadows Designer Series paper using 3/16" Corner Rounder punch; adhere grid paper to it. Adhere cut-out leaves to grid paper using Stampin' Dimensionals.
5.Tie linen thread around Mini Library clip and attach clip to layered Designer Series paper.
6.Adhere layered paper to card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Announcing the birth of my new niece...Audrina Marie. Born September 24 to my sister Leticia and her hubby Jeff.

This is a 6 x 6 scrapbook page I created using our new My Digital Software. It only took me about 20 minutes to create this page and now I'll have it forever. I will also order a copy for my sister. Pumpkin Heads

As soon as I started assembling my Pumpkin Patch set from the Holiday Mini catalog I thought of these cute little pumpkin heads. This set is more versatile than you might think. You could use the pumpkin shapes (ovals and a circle) to make balloons, Easter eggs, eyes on a face, flower petals, Christmas ornaments and I'm sure you can think of more. You could stamp sentiments on them, punch them out, and layer them too. So, when you look at this stamp set don't just think of Halloween, there are many uses for these stamps! Just a note...see that black circle in the middle of the striped ribbon? That's one of our large chocolate brown brads! Yep, I just dabbed the brad into my Basic Black Craft pad and used my heat tool to dry it. Pretty cool huh?? So, think of our large brads and having them in any of our 48 beautiful Stampin' Up! colors!! One more thing...I created the jagged edge using our Straight Scallop punch. Just punch once then shift your cardstock and punch again over the already punched scallops!

A New Toy...

Happy Tuesday!!

So sorry I've been away so long. Things got a little busy around here the last few weeks with school starting. I'll bet you're wondering what my new toy is huh?!?? Well, it's My Digital Studio!! Ok, it's a new program from Stampin' Up! called My Digital Studio!! This incredible new program will be available October 1st and is designed for those of you that love to scrapbook digitally, create cards digitally, edit photos digitally, create home decor digitally and so on. Whatever your heart desires can be created digitally!!! It's absolutely AMAZING!! Ok, so I'm guessing you want to see some digital samples huh? Ok, here they are...

This first one is a Christmas card I created in about oh...5 minutes!! Yep, 5 minutes. Here's the cool thing. If I don't want to print this card out I can actually make this card with all of my physical supplies. YES, I can stamp Dasher, cut out a circle, cut some DSP, add a sentiment and some cute star brads with some grosgrain ribbon to create a handmade card!! So, if you're not into digital cards or scrapbooking... what about creating layouts for your scrapbooks and cards??? HOW AMAZING IS THAT??!!Here's my first scrapbook page...this one took me about 10 minutes. Ok a little longer than the card but that's because it's 8 1/2 x 11!! I needed to add more elements and seriously...the thing that took me the longest was choosing which font I wanted for my "First Day of School 2009" title!! This program works automatically with ALL the fonts you have on your computer so the choice is endless!! When you download a font from the internet, it's automatically available in your My Digital Studio!!

MISS July Swaps

Flower Brad Earring Jacket

Ok, you may think this is a little weird but after seeing all of Shelli's earrings from convention I came up with this idea. I've loved our flower brads since they came out and use them whenever possible. Now I can wear them every day! :0) These little filigree brad "jackets" are just the perfect size to wear as earring jackets. They're a little heavier than most "post" earrings so just be sure you have screw on backs or really tight backings. I wore them today and got 3 compliments!! So, tell me what you think...am I loosing it or do you think this might be something you would do?

Butterfly Tag

Happy Saturday!
Here's a little project I've had in my head for a while now. Using the Stampin' Up! Beautiful Butterfly Die for the Big Shot I created this beautiful butterfly tag. I cut a piece of Razzleberry Lemonade DSP to 4" x 6". Folded it in half on the 6" side then fold in half on the 4" side. Lay it on your die with one fold just below the top of the butterfly cut marks and the right side fold just inside the cut marks. Roll it through your Big Shot and you'll get this cute little butterfly "card" that measures about 3" x 4". This would be awesome for a gift tag, an embellishment for a scrapbook page, a little note for your child's school lunch or your husband's briefcase.
