Christmas Stamp A Stack Card #2

Here's another card we made at my friend Gina Cardera's Christmas Card Stamp a Stack.

Don't you just love the unique colors of this card for Christmas. And don't forget the bling. I love sparkly things on my cards and try to add rhinestones, glitter, shimmer paints or whatever I can find that shines, to all my cards.

Christmas Stamp A Stack Card #1

I hope you had a fabulous Thanksgiving. I sure did. I got to spend some time with my family and relax and eat waaaay tooooo much!!

 

I want to share some cards I made recently at a Christmas Stamp a Stack hosted by Gina Cardera, an amazing demonstrator and really good friend of mine.

I'll be posting all the cards this week.

Here's one of the six cards we made.

Banner Birthday Card

I created this card for a card swap a while back.

It's such an easy card to create.

 

Supplies are all Stampin' Up!
Stamps:
Sincere Salutations (Retired)
Cardstock: Pretty in Pink, Baja Breeze, Whisper White
Designer Paper: Twitterpated
Accessories: Decorative Label Punch, Full Heart Punch (for the ends of the Designer Paper), 3/8" Baja Breeze Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Stampin' Dimensionals, SNAIL, and scissors.

 

Folded Christmas Tree Card

I've been wanting to try this Christmas Tree folding technique for a while now so here's a card I finally made using the technique.

Of course I had to add a little bling. What's a Christmas tree without bling?!

Flower Pants

I've had these pants with a stain on them for about a year now and decided to fix them so I could wear them again.

Within 10 minutes I was wearing them and out the door.

 

I used our Stampin' Up! Designer Fabric called Twitterpated.

Page 171 Item #125412 for $9.95

You get 3 extra wide fat quarters of coordinated designs.

I cut out the flowers using the Bigz XL Flower Folds Die and the Big Shot.

I also cut out some iron on fusible webbing using the same dies and Big Shot.

 

I ironed the flowers on my pants, punched holes in the center of the flowers and stuck the brads (retired silver star, flower & circle) through. I used brads because I wanted a little bling with the silver and so that I could remove them for laundering. If I had more time I would have sewn some of our beautiful, coordinating buttons on but I really like the silver of the brads and will most likely keep them. Plus, I could change out the brads whenever I want. I think I might change them to the Antique Brads next.

So now I'm thinking I want to do this to all my clothes!!

I can picture the Dresden Designs Bigz L Die (p. 192, Item #125597, $32.95) making a flower on a pretty blouse or t-shirt. Oh, I can't wait to try this one.

 

So, here I am with my "new" pants on!

Notice the sweater? It's an exclusive (demonstrator only) Stampin' Up! Sweater and it matches our Twitterpated fabric perfectly!! So cool!!

Christmas Card Workshop

Have you ever made your own Christmas cards? How would you like to get your cards sent out "before" Christmas this year? I love to send out Christmas cards but most years I just don't get them out in time. This year will be different! I am going to get my cards done and out in plenty of time this year!!

 

I'd love you to join me for a fun day of crafting, eating, drinking and enjoying the holidays together. We'll make 9 cards, 3 each of 3 designs. Now, for me, 9 cards just isn't enough so if you'd like to make more, I'll have packs you can take home to finish for a small fee of $5 per 3 cards. Just let me know before the workshop how many you would like. I'll try to post pictures of the 3 cards before the workshop.
