Here are the make & takes we made at our SU! meeting this week.

Boutique Items I Had For Sale

Here are som items I had for sale at the Holiday Boutique I was in.

Mini Photo Albums. Flat backed glass ornaments.

Tumbled tiles stamped and colored in with Staz On and Sharpie markers.

These are wood frames I decorated.

These are decorated tea tins. I think I will fill them with candy for my next boutique. I did sell quite of few of these empty though. :0)

These two are small tea tins decorated with 50 gift tags inside each.

Holiday Boutique Set Up

I was a vendor at a Holiday Boutique last weekend and I just wanted to show you how I set up my displays.
This is Edra Jandro. You've seen some of her wonderful artwork here but I wanted you to finally see who she is. She is a great friend and a wonder SU! downline! We had a lot of fun.

All in the Family Campaign Update November 19, 2007

Less than two weeks left in the All in the Family campaign, and our sincere thanks go out to those of you who are working to make this charitable effort a success! As of November 19, at 9:00 AM (MT), Stampin' Up! demonstrators worldwide have sold over 3100 All in the Family stamp sets. All of the proceeds that Stampin' Up! receives from the All in the Family campaign will go directly into a fund dedicated to helping Dave's family.

Dave Abbott, Stampin' Up!'s Australia general manager, passed away on Thursday, October 18. His untimely passing left behind his wife and three small children. While we understand that no amount of money can compensate his family for their loss, we at Stampin' Up! also understand that Dave's unique and personal contributions in Australia have helped make Stampin' Up! what it is. Dave was one of our own, and we are committed to doing what can be done to support his family through their loss.

We know what Stampin' Up! demonstrators can do when they put their minds to it, and for the remainder of this campaign, we ask you to put your minds and your hearts into making a difference in the lives of Dave's family. For the remainder of November, please do all you can to make the All in the Family campaign a success.

SU! Monthly Meeting Make 'N Takes

These are the make n' takes we did at our monthly Stampin' Up! meeting. As usual we had a lot of fun hanging out and stamping!

This is the outside of a Gift Card holder. You can make this a little purse if you add some ribbon to the top. It's so cute and so easy to make (once you make the first one...:0)) This is the inside of the gift card holder. You would put your gift card right there on the Sage Shadow piece that has the slits cut out. Then the little card with the tab slides into the pocket at the bottom. This was an extra card that Lori made for everyone. This is a Gift Card holder. It's the envelope technique. The envelope is folded in half, you open it up, seal half of the envelope and place the gift card in the other side. If you need more info just let me know.

This is also a Gift Card holder. We just didn't have cards to put in the pocket so Valerie gave us some candy. Wasn't that nice!?! Who doesn't love chocolate??? YUMMY!This is the make 'n take I brought.
Thanks for checking in and I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!

Linda Peterson's Thank You Card

First of all, let me say I am sorry for not posting for a few days. It's been really crazy around here lately. I've been getting ready for my Holiday Boutique (you can read all about this on an earlier post) so I'll have lots to share from that next week. I will be posting a few things later tonight too since I have my Upline meeting tonight and we always have some great projects in store. For now, I've got a little treat for you from Linda Peterson. Remember her, she won my blog candy a while back. Well, she sent me this beautiful thank you card AND she used my favorite set, Doodle This!! I hope you are all having a wonderful day and I'll be back later to share what we make at my meeting!! Thanks for stopping by!

Wreath Card and Snowflake Necklace

This card was inspired by a wreath project I saw in the Michael's Imagine magazine. It's just strips of paper glued to a paper ring. Then I punched a snowflake out of a piece of Whisper White card stock that I had embossed with our Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder. The little "snowflakes" on the wreath are punched using the Spring Flower Bouquet punch. The corners are punched with the Photo Corner Punch. The blue is our Ballet Blue card stock. It would look good with our green and red using one of the other flowers as poinsettias from the same Spring Flower Bouquet punch. Hope you're having a great week! Thanks for checking in!!
I was just playing around with these flat backed glass stones and thought this might make a pretty necklace. What do you think? It's made with the Snowflake Spot stamp set, gold embossing powder and black card stock. The fitting is glued to the glass stone and it hangs on a velvet necklace. It really looks pretty on and much prettier in person. I've had lots of nice comments while wearing it. I hope you like it.

Glass Ornaments & Magnets

These are some ornaments and magnets (pink) that I made for the upcoming Holiday Boutique I will be having. I used the large, flat backed, glass stones and the All Through The Year stamp set with Ballet Blue card stock (Pink Passion for the magnets), Detail White embossing powder, White craft pad, Crystal Effects and White Grosgrain Ribbon and the 1 1/4 Circle Punch. Please let me know what you think of these. I need some feedback so I know if I should go ahead and sell these in sets of four at the boutique or not. Thanks a bunch and I hope your weekend is going well!!

Christmas Star

This star was made with the Dashing DSP. I cut 23 3" squares, folded them in half (but don't crease them) diagonally and glued the ends together. Then glue them to a circle cut out of some scrap paper. I used the largest circle on the Coluzzle. Then cut another circle using the third circle in on the Coluzzle and glue that to the top center. I hope this all makes sense. If you have any questions let me know.
Hope you all have a great day!! Happy November!!
