Happy Birthday Cutie Pie

Well, I have 18 birthday cards to send out in October!! I think this is my busiest birthday month of the year. I have already sent out quite a few and this is the latest. I will be making 8 of these cards to send out to the rest of the birthday girls this month. I think it's a pretty and happy card, no pun intended but that was funny...LOL. I think the Cutie Pie Designer Series Paper is one of my favorites in our SU! catalog and I'm sure it shows. I use it all the time. I just love the colors and the flowers. I love that it matches our In Colors an some of our other colors as well. Can I tell you that I absolutely LOVE our satin ribbon in the Holiday Mini Collection catalog!!! This ribbon is so luxurious and rich and thick and so soft. I wish I had sheets made out of this ribbon. I want to use it on everything! I don't know why I waited so long to order it. I want to order rolls and rolls so I never run out. I'm hoping that SU! gives it to us in all the 48 colors in January's catalog!!! Or, maybe not since I would be broke buying all that ribbon. Anyway, I hope you like this card and if you get a chance to get this satin ribbon I would jump on it!! Remember, it's only available until the end of November so stock up if you can!! At only .66 cents a yard you can't beat it. I've seen satin ribbon selling for up to .95 cents a yard and it's not even as thick as this and you can't buy the whole spool, you can only get it by the yard. Our spools are 15 yards for only $9.95. You'll notice the difference as soon as you are holding it in your hand. The spool is so heavy compared to most other ribbon. Ok, I'm done "selling" you on this ribbon. I just really like it. Thank you for listening to me rant about my love affair with ribbon and for your continued friendships through my blog. I hope you are enjoying reading and looking at all my stuff as much as I am enjoying making it and sharing it with you. Have a great evening or day depending on where you are. L

Wow, what a wonderful card. OK, I was on the fence about the satin ribbon (I have SO much ribbon already), but you've just helped the ribbon go to the top of my wish list. (I can always justify that it is for wrapping presents, right?) Love the layout of your card, and the "happy" sentiment is perfect for this DP. Thanks for sharing, and enabling! :)
